Category: the Rant Board

A few days ago I bought 2 pairs of jeans. $40 dollars worth. I didn't try them on and when I did bring them home found one was too small and the other too big. I return them, pick out 2 of the same size. I try them on, find that they fit comfortably and then purchase them. What happens? I wash them and they SHRINK 2 sizes down! It's like I'm wearing a size that my sister would wear when I'm 2 sizes up. I swear I found the perfect fitting jean (and all women can agree it's hard to find.) and they shrink! I can't return them the tags were thrown out and I washed them. Plus I threw out the receipt thats how confidient I was with what I bought. I like it, out goes the tags and the receipt. What bugs me? I go back to Target where I bought the jeans...... I noticed while yet again trying on jeans that the one size I purchased, I found the same brand of jean only 4 sizes up and they fit the same. There isn't a difference thats where I got the rip off. The problem is finding my size jean isn't easy. And at that time when I purchased the last pair all I saw on the racks was just one brand of jean in my size. I'll never go back there again. It goes to show that Kohls and Walmart have a variety in brands and sizes. Anyone else have this problem?

If you know this is the rant board, stay off of it if you don't like hearing it. Geez. And blindvi, I so know what you mean! I hate going shopping for jeans for the mere fact that I can't ever find anything that fits comfortably! Arg!

I hate people who complain about people who complain on a board made specifically for complaining. Please. If you don't like reading someone's rant, ignore the board? *Nods to Orange Dolphin Spirit* She's got the right bloody idea. And I wish they'd have jeans in odd legnths... I need a length 29, but they've only got 30

What I find challenging is that sometimes the latest trends are not flattering to my figure, and no I don't have a big ass or anything. I'm usually a size 6. But that is another annoying point. I can be a 4 at one store and a 6 at others... even a 2 at some or an 8.

After that I don't look at numbers for size. I buy whats comfortable and looks flattering on me.

And yes this is the rant board. This is where people do their complaining. I agree, ya don't like it don't go on the board. Even I know that.

I so know what you mean blindvi. Especially since I'm really short jeans I usually buy are so big on me so I ither have to get them hemmed or go to the pitit section of jeans. Jeans are ither to tight not tight enough or to baggy.

I really don't have that much of a problem with Jeans, I do sometimes, but not usually. I guess I'm lucky.
